Folco Terzani is an Italian writer and documentary filmmaker. He grew up in Asia, studied at Cambridge University and went to film school in New York after which he made documentaries about hermits, Mother Teresa and the Himalayan sadhus. With his dying father, he wrote ‘The End is My Beginning‘ which became a bestseller in Europe and a feature film. This was followed by ‘Barefoot On the Earth’, ‘Ultra’ (about running absurd distances in nature) and ‘The Dog, the Wolf and God‘. He is now studying apes.
