Rama Bijapurkar is a recognized thought leader on business-market strategy and India’s consumer economy.
She has an independent market strategy consulting practice, serves or has served on the boards of several blue-chip companies and public institution, and is co-founder and Chairperson of think tank and fact tank People Research on India’s Consumer Economy which provides household level insight on Indias consumer economy and citizen environment for public policy and business strategy (www.ice360.in).
She teaches, as a visiting faculty, at IIM Ahmedabad, her alma mater
A dominant voice in the media and public forums on issues related to her work, Rama is the author of two widely acclaimed books on Consumer India “We are like that only” ( international English and Chinese editions titled Winning in the Indian Market, Wiley) and “A Never-Before World”, (Penguin India) . She is also the author of “Customer in the Boardroom” (SAGE)
She is also a member of the Business Book jury of the Tata Literature Live! Awards 2018.
